Cox Communications Employee Golf Tournament

I had the great privilege to shoot the Cox Employee Golf Tourney Sunday.

My hubby played with some buddies, so he was a happy man.  

I was happy because - not only did I get to take pix which of course I love to do – but I got my very own golf cart. 

And when I got home, I discovered how much I like golf carts.  Evidenced by how many pix I took of them.  

There are many, many more, but I'll leave it at that.  Back to golf...

Always behind

I'm the friend whose always "behind".

{womp womp  I know.  But I couldn't resist.}  ;)  This is fresh on my mind as I had lunch with one of my Besties, who is always on time - which to her is late.  Thanks Friend for being patient with this character flaw of mine.  Maybe one of these days I'll beat you to the lunch table! ;)

So my goal is to spend part of the weekend catching up on things.  Amidst football games.

My goal is to stay focused.

She's 6!

My little girl just turned 6!

We got to go take pix and have some girly fun.  She loves this purple tutu made by my sweet and crafty friend.

She's great at it too.  We had so much fun.  What a blessing she is to us!

Mommy-Son Day

My sweet friend and I went downtown and had a Mommy-Son date a few weeks ago.  Aren't they cute?

His smile is priceless!  We had fun, and a little craziness with two little boys.  :)  She is a great Mommy and friend.  She is also an awesome photographer and has taught me so much about photography, which I am thankful for.  Check out her site: simplyserena.com.

Yes!  He finally came to Tulsa, and I would not have missed it.

He's an amazing guitarist, songwriter ...

...musician...

and performer.  He put on a GREAT show!

Weekends

Who doesn't love weekends?  The ones where you just get to hang out - and we got to do just that a couple weeks ago on the lake with some friends...

We all kicked our feet up...

And at the end of the day, enjoyed a beautiful sunset (aren't they cute?)

dancing in the rain

i love oklahoma rain.

we like to make the most of it!  my kids love to go outside in their swimsuits and dance in the rain, and i love it.  though it may be so cliche, but a great life lesson - "that life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, but learning to dance in the rain".  hope you're "dancing in the rain" today, no matter what life or the weather brings you! :)
